How Tos:

Warm Boot

  • Hold down the Power button until the handheld begins to boot (about 5 seconds)


Cold Boot

Warning: Cold booting any device can erase data and the TrackAbout software. Contact TrackAbout Support before attempting a cold boot.

  • Simultaneously press the 1,9 and Power keys


Save Wireless Configurations in the Applications Folder

Saving wireless configurations in the Applications folder will save the wireless settings even after a cold boot.

  • Go to: Start > Programs > Wireless Companion > Wireless Launch > Options
  • Select Export
  • Click Export Options
  • Click Save
  • Click Export All Profiles
  • Click Save
  • Click Ok

  1. Go to Start > Programs > Wireless Companion > Wireless Launch > Options
  2. In the top drop down box, choose Regulatory
  3. In the Settings drop down box, choose USA
  4. Uncheck the Enable 802.11d box
  5. Click Save
  6. Click Ok
