Warning- Reinstalling TAMobile will Overwrite Backup Folder

• If a handheld dies, remove the SD card and recover the data from the card before reinstalling TrackAbout on that handheld.
  

Data Recovery Using Card Reader

1. Insert card into the card reader.
2. Use TA Conduit to Sync data.
   1. Open TA Conduit.
   2. In the Sync menu, click on Sync a Backup SD Card.
   3. Select the backup folder that contains the most recent backup files and click OK.

Data Recovery Using Another Handheld

Note: This method is not recommended. Data loss can occur if there is TrackAbout data on the second handheld.

1. Insert card into a working handheld and place into a sync cradle.
2. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the handheld files.
3. Copy the backup or archive folder to the desktop.
4. Use TA Conduit to Sync data.
   1. Open TA Conduit.
   2. In the Sync menu, click on Sync a Backup SD Card.
   3. Select the backup folder that contains the most recent backup files and click OK.
