About TAMobile
TAMobile is the software that resides on each handheld computer. It communicates with your TrackAbout database, either through syncing with a cradle
attached to a PC, or wirelessly.When syncing with a PC, it uses Windows Mobile Devices Center(ActiveSync) to manage the sync process.
This software allows the user to perform any mobile-enabled actions using the handheld computer. These actions usually include deliveries and returns, maintenance actions, replacing barcodes, audits, etc.
TAMobile runs on devices that use the following operating systems: Windows CE, Windows Mobile 5.0, Windows Mobile 6.0 and Windows Mobile 6.5. TAMobile needs to be installed on each handheld computer. For instructions on how to do this, please visit the New Handheld Setup page.
