Software Releases
Application Web Site - Release Schedule
As of February 2016, TrackAbout has changed the process for releasing software updates. We are moving from a two week cycle to a monthly release schedule. TrackAbout feels the change to a monthly release schedule will benefit both our product and our clients.
New Release Schedule
- Test Environments - For clients utilizing test environments, software releases will take place on or about the 5th business day of each month.
- Production Environment - Software releases will take place on or about the 15th business day of each month.
Benefits of this change
- A longer development cycle means more testing and QA time for new enhancements and fixes. This means fewer issues and/or potential problems with new features
- There will be a two week period between the update to our test environment and the update to the production. This means a longer available testing period for clients who use TrackAbout test environments.
TA Mobile 6 (TAM6)
TA Mobile 6 run on the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework platform
Updating to New Versions - Starting in February 2016, Clients using TAMobile 6 will be automatically updated once a month, meaning you will always have the latest and greatest version of TrackAbout’s mobile software to use.
TAMobile 5 (TAM5)
