How Tos:
Warm Boot
- Press the Power button
- Select Reboot from the menu
Cold Boot
Warning: Cold booting any device can erase data and the TrackAbout software. Contact TrackAbout Support before attempting a cold boot.
- Press the Power button to suspend the handheld
- Remove the handstrap and the battery pack
- Press the Reset button in the battery compartment
- Press power and wait until the handheld reboots
Clean Boot
Warning: A clean boot erases all the memory in the handheld, including all applications and data files, except those in Flash memory or any removable storage. Contact TrackAbout Support before attempting a clean boot.
- Remove the battery pack from the back of the handheld
- With a stylus, press the Reset button in the battery cavity
- Insert the battery back into the handheld and immediately press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button
- Continue to hold the Power button and the Volume Down button until you are prompted to release them
- Press the Volume Up button to start the clean boot
- Wait for the handheld to load files from its ROM
