This page explains how to pair a TAMobile6 handheld with an O'Neil Bluetooth printer.

  • Make sure the printer has power - either plugged in or a charged battery
  • Write down the serial number of the printer. For O’Neil printers, you have to open the printer and it’s printed either on the bottom of the printer, or on a label on the print-head encasing. Close the printer.
  • On the handheld, log into TrackAbout and go to Utilities > Config
  • Select Receipt Printer
  • Select Printer Model
  • Enter the Printer Port (Com 4 or 5 are common) Recommended to use the same com port on all client devices for consistency and help when troubleshooting
  • Tap the Test button
  • A list of Bluetooth devices will appear. The name of your printer is the same as the serial number of the printer.
  • Single tap your printer and then tap the Next button.
  • A screen will appear which has a checkbox for “Save As Favorite.” Make sure that is checked. Tap the Next button.
  • The Connection Summary screen will appear. Tap the Connect button.
  • The Print Status page will appear as follows:
Retrieving Printer Configuration...OK
Connecting To Printer...OK
Printing...OK
  • Tap the Close button.
  • You will be back at the Configuration screen. Tap the Done button.

Test receipt

  • Perform a delivery
  • After signature, Print and save Receipt
