Overview
In order to sync a device, your Windows PC must be running a piece of software from Microsoft. The name of the software is different depending on whether you're running Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7.

If your computer is running Windows XP
- Download Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5

If your computer is running Windows Vista or Windows 7
First, determine whether your version of Windows Vista or Windows 7 is 32-bit or 64-bit.
- Click Start
- Right-click Computer and then click Properties.
- The version is listed after System type.
