Consumables and Hard Goods
==Overview==
Trackabout uses the terms Hard Goods or Consumables to describe products our clients deliver to their customers and next expect to have returned. Consumables are not used for rent and this will be a one-time sale.
Examples of Hardgoods include items like welding wire.
==Getting Started with Hard Goods==
Use of the Hargoods/Consummable feature is associated with Equipment Rental. Therefore your company must already subscribe to the TrackAbout Rental Module to use this feature.
Consult with TrackAbout Support personnel. There will be some specific client configurations that need to be turned on.
==Creating New Hard Goods==
Just like for other assets tracked within Trackabout, all Hardgoods will have Product Codes associated with them.
Hard Goods or Consumables can be added from Consumable Good Product Code page.
