Overview
Every customer account has a Customer Detail View page and from this page there are several reports and tool at your disposal to manage the customer's account. The Asset List report displays all the unique scanned assets out to the selected customer as of specific date.
How does it work?
This provides a means to review all the unique scanned assets out to the selected customer as of specific date. This does not include any Not-Scanned assets that may exist on the customer's balance.
Search Options
There are three search parameters to use on this page:
- Asset Classification - The viewer has the ability to refine the report based on Asset Classification. At the top of the report, choose a specific Category, Group and Type to find any uniquely tracked assets of that kind on the customer's balance.
- Date - By default, this report will provide an Asset List as of the date and time the report was accessed. However, viewers may choose a specific date and time in the past to see what unique assets had been on the balance.
- Include Departments or limit to Parent account - If you are viewing the Asset List of a Parent Account (also called a BillTo account), at the top of the report, viewers will see a link called "Include assets held by departments".
When clicked, the report will automatically update to include any unique assets current held by departments under the parent account. The link will now show the reverse option, "Show parent company only", to allow the viewer to limit the Asset List report to only unique assets held by the Parent account.
In the result grid, Invoice Number is listed, followed by Purchase Order in parentheses. If there is no Purchase Order, no parentheses will appear. If there is only a Purchase Order, but no Invoice Number, it will be in parentheses.
Switch to Asset Balance
In the top right of the report grid, you'll find a link to switch to the Asset Balance Report
This report provides information about the customer and related department balances based on Product and Quantity. This report includes both Unique and Not Scanned Asset counts.
Specific to Follow On Tracking
When logged in as a Follow On Tracking user, the Asset List report will include Not Scanned Assets. These Not Scanned Assets will not appear on the report for an internal TrackAbout user. This is because, to your customer, it is assumed they will not know the difference between uniquely tracked and Not Scanned assets. They will be mainly concerned with the Type and Quantity of assets on their balance.
