Overview

In order to sync a handheld device, your Windows PC must be running a piece of software from Microsoft.

Follow these instructions to download the correct program for your PC.

If your computer is running Windows XP

Download and install Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5

If your computer is running Windows Vista or Windows 7

First, determine whether your version of Windows Vista or Windows 7 is 32-bit or 64-bit.

  • Click Start
  • Right-click Computer and then click Properties.
  • The version is listed after System type.
