For every linked exchange operation, there must be a sender and recipient. Both TrackAbout customers have steps to complete before the partnership can be established.
Partnerships are initialized by recipients. During the process, the recipient will get a URL and a verification code that they will provide to the sender. When the sender registers, they will need this information to complete the set up process. Below are the steps necessary to complete a partnership setup.
The following steps are to be completed by a recipient.
1. In the Linked Exchange section, select Partner Management.
2. Under "I Want To...", choose "Receive Deliveries from a New Partner"
3. On the Set Up New Partner page, fill out a name for the partner, an ownership for assets recieved from this partner, and an email address that the verificaton email will be sent to.
4. Click save.
Once the partner information is saved, an email is sent to the email address you provided. The next screen allows you to manage information about this partnership, including:
- Setting email addresses that will be used when there are problems processing messages
- Setting email addresses that will be used when there are missing mappings.
- Resending partner verification information (before the partnership is verified by the sender)
- Managing partnership name and asset ownership settings.
- Disabling this partnership.
